Summary
This study collects plucked hair follicles from 100 healthy volunteers to see if cells from them can be grown and turned into stem cells. Researchers will then try to turn those stem cells into pancreatic or blood cells for disease modeling and future cell replacement therapies. The goal is to learn whether hair follicles are a good source for these lab-made cells.
