New gel could soothe sore gums after the dentist

Summary

This study tests whether a gel made from hyaluronan (HA35) can safely reduce gum pain and swelling after dental procedures. About 30 adults will chew on gel-soaked cotton balls for 30 minutes. Researchers will measure pain and swelling changes at 1, 30, and 60 minutes after application.
