New bird flu vaccine shows promise in large trial

Summary
This study tested two different H5N8 bird flu vaccines in 1380 healthy adults to see how safe they are and how well they trigger the immune system. Participants received different doses of the vaccine with either AS03 or MF59 adjuvant. The goal is to find the best dose and adjuvant combination for protection against bird flu.
