Virus and chemo combo takes on hard-to-treat head and neck cancers

NCT ID NCT07398664

First seen Feb 11, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study tests a new combination for people with head and neck cancer that has come back or spread after at least two standard treatments. The approach uses a modified virus (H101) plus a targeted chemotherapy delivered directly to the tumor's blood supply (TACE) to kill cancer cells and boost the immune system. About 20 participants will be followed to see if tumors shrink and how long they stay controlled.
