First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study is looking at 100 adults with metabolic syndrome to see if those with an H. pylori infection in their stomach have worse insulin resistance (a key driver of diabetes). Researchers will compare blood tests, body measurements, and stomach inflammation between infected and non-infected groups. The goal is to understand if treating this common infection could help manage metabolic syndrome.
