Summary
This study is looking at whether an infection with H. pylori bacteria in the stomach is linked to more severe insulin resistance in people with metabolic syndrome. Researchers will compare 50 people with the infection to 50 without it, measuring blood sugar control, inflammation, and body measurements. The goal is to understand if treating this common infection could help manage metabolic syndrome.
