First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This observational study will collect stool and blood samples from 100 adults with restless legs syndrome (RLS) and healthy volunteers. Researchers will compare gut bacteria and related chemicals to see if certain microbes affect iron metabolism and contribute to RLS. The goal is to better understand the disease, not to test a treatment.
