Summary
This pilot study is looking at the gut microbiome—the collection of bacteria in your digestive system—in people with advanced non-small cell lung cancer. Researchers will collect stool and saliva samples before and during standard cancer treatment to see if the diversity of gut bacteria is linked to how well the treatment works or what side effects occur. The goal is simply to gather information, not to test a new drug or therapy.
