Scientists probe Gut-Brain link in Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, and MS

NCT ID NCT05934188

Summary

This study aims to understand how the bacteria in our gut might be connected to changes in the brain during normal aging and in diseases like Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, and Multiple Sclerosis. Researchers will compare 200 participants, including healthy people of different ages and people with these conditions. They will collect stool and blood samples, perform brain scans, and conduct memory tests to look for patterns and potential early markers.
