Summary
This study aims to understand how weight loss surgery changes the bacteria in your gut and how those changes might improve heart health and diabetes. Researchers will follow 300 patients for up to 10 years after their surgery, collecting blood and stool samples to look for patterns. The goal is to learn why surgery helps some people more than others, which could lead to better treatments in the future.
