New drug study aims to tame debilitating bowel diseases
NCT ID NCT07242248
Summary
This study is observing how well the drug guselkumab works for adults with moderate-to-severe Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis in real-world UK clinics. It will track 220 patients to see if the treatment reduces symptoms, improves quality of life, and helps them stop using steroid medications. The goal is to understand the drug's effectiveness and safety in everyday practice, not in a controlled trial setting.
