First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study looked back at the dental records of 126 people who had surgery to regrow gum tissue and bone lost to gum disease. The goal was to see how many patients had deep gum pockets close up after the procedure. No new treatments were given; researchers simply analyzed existing data and re-examined patients to measure long-term success.
