Gum graft healing secrets revealed in new study

NCT ID NCT07386457

First seen Feb 04, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study watches how gum grafts heal in 15 people after standard gum recession surgery. Researchers use a digital scanner, a blood flow device, and saliva tests to track swelling, new blood vessel growth, and healing chemicals. Participants also fill out pain questionnaires. The goal is to learn what normal healing looks like, not to test a new treatment.
