Summary

This study tested if chewing gum or walking before a colonoscopy helps clean the bowel better and makes patients more satisfied. 168 adults were split into three groups: standard prep, gum chewing, or walking. The goal was to see if these simple activities improve the quality of bowel preparation and comfort.
