Summary

This study tested whether chewing gum or walking before a colonoscopy helps clean the bowel better and makes patients more satisfied. 168 adults were split into three groups: standard prep, gum chewing, or walking exercise. Researchers measured bowel cleanliness and patient comfort. The goal is to find simple ways to improve colonoscopy quality and screening for colorectal cancer.
