Jaw surgery aftermath: scientists track gum and bone changes

Summary

This study watches 100 adults who are having jaw surgery to fix their bite. Researchers will measure gum thickness, gum width, and bone thickness before surgery and at 1, 3, and 6 months after. The goal is to see how these tissues change over time. No new treatment is tested—only measurements are taken.
