First seen Jun 08, 2026 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study looks at how brain blood flow and the autonomic nervous system work in veterans who served in the Gulf War (1990-1992) and have Gulf War Illness. Researchers will measure changes in brain blood flow and nerve activity using ultrasound, MRI, and a breathing test. The goal is to better understand the link between these factors and cognitive decline, without offering a direct treatment.
