First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 31, 2026 · Updated 33 times

Summary

This study tests a drug called GSK2636771 in 35 adults with advanced cancers that have lost the PTEN protein. The drug blocks a protein (PI3K-beta) that helps these cancer cells grow. The goal is to see if the drug can shrink tumors or stop them from growing. This is a phase II trial, meaning it is still in early testing for effectiveness.
