First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study tests whether attending prenatal care in a group setting helps pregnant women with type 2 or gestational diabetes better control their blood sugar and manage weight after giving birth. About 117 English-speaking women up to 34 weeks pregnant are randomly assigned to either group or traditional one-on-one care. The goal is to see if group support improves diabetes management and long-term health outcomes.
