NCT ID NCT07166237

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 18, 2026 · Updated 31 times

Summary

This study tests whether a 9-week online group therapy program (cognitive behavioural therapy) can help fathers and non-birthing parents who feel depressed during their partner's pregnancy or within the first 18 months after birth. About 48 participants in Ontario will be randomly assigned to receive the therapy plus usual care, or usual care alone. The main goal is to see if this approach is practical and acceptable, and to measure changes in depression symptoms.
