NCT ID NCT07421076
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jul 01, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests a new mapping catheter and software to help doctors treat atrial fibrillation, a common heart rhythm problem. About 200 Chinese patients will receive a standard ablation procedure, but doctors will use the new tools to guide them. The goal is to see if the new devices are safe and effective at identifying problem areas in the heart.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
Grid X Mapping Catheter and EnSite X Software (device)
What this could lead to
If successful, this could provide a safer and more effective way to map and treat atrial fibrillation, potentially improving outcomes for patients.
What could go wrong
This is an early-stage study with only 200 participants, so results may not apply to everyone. There are risks like heart damage or stroke from the procedure.
