Green tea pill trial aims to fight frailty in aging cancer survivors
NCT ID NCT06068543
Summary
This study is testing whether a compound found in green tea, called EGCG, can help older adults who have survived cancer feel less frail and reduce body inflammation. About 118 participants aged 65+ who have finished cancer treatment will take either EGCG or a placebo pill daily for 12 weeks. Researchers will measure changes in physical strength and frailty to see if the supplement helps.
