Graves disease eye damage: new clues from inflammation and thyroid markers
NCT ID NCT07480720
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study looks at 100 people with Graves disease to see if inflammation and thyroid antibodies are linked to changes in the eye's nerve layer and macula. Researchers will compare eye scans (OCT) and blood tests between patients with and without eye involvement, plus healthy controls. The goal is to better understand how Graves disease affects the eyes, which may help with early detection.
