First seen Feb 21, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study tests whether a grape polyphenol concentrate can help prevent heart damage in breast cancer patients receiving certain types of chemotherapy. About 120 women at high risk for heart problems will take either the grape supplement or a placebo for three months. Researchers will check heart function and blood markers at the start, at 3 months, and at 6 months to see if the supplement offers protection.
