Doctor's nudge could save lives: new study aims to boost cervical cancer screening
NCT ID NCT06527456
First seen Apr 28, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study tests whether a simple reminder from a general practitioner can encourage more women aged 25 to 65 to get screened for cervical cancer. In France, only about 59% of eligible women participate in the national screening program. The study will involve over 11,000 women in the Ile-De-France region to see if the doctor's intervention improves screening rates.
