First seen Feb 03, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a medication that temporarily stops menstruation (like a short-term menopause) can reduce fat buildup in the liver of women with endometriosis. About 62 women will receive the drug goserelin acetate, and researchers will measure changes in liver fat and scarring using ultrasound. The goal is to understand if this approach could help treat fatty liver disease in this group.
