First seen May 31, 2026 · Last updated Jun 14, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study tests whether a remote dietary program can help people with early to intermediate age-related macular degeneration (AMD) lower their blood sugar and increase protective nutrients called carotenoids. About 32 participants will receive coaching to improve their eating habits. The goal is to see if this approach can help manage the disease and potentially slow vision loss.
