Laser zaps eye pressure swings in glaucoma study
NCT ID NCT07428668
First seen Feb 25, 2026 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a laser procedure called Direct Selective Laser Trabeculoplasty (DSLT) can reduce the natural ups and downs of eye pressure throughout the day in people with glaucoma. About 40 adults who already take 1 to 3 eye pressure-lowering drops will receive the laser in one eye. Researchers will measure eye pressure at three times during the day before the laser and again 6 months later to see if the swings become smaller.
