Summary
This study tested a new drug called giredestrant against the standard drug tamoxifen in 92 premenopausal women with a common type of early breast cancer. Participants took the medication for 15 days before their planned surgery. The goal was to see how well each drug slowed tumor growth by measuring a marker called Ki67 in tissue samples taken before and after treatment.
