Ancient ginkgo tree extract tested as potential Alzheimer's slowing treatment

Summary

This study is testing whether a Ginkgo Biloba extract called Egb761 can slow down Alzheimer's disease in people with mild memory problems. Fifty participants will take the extract twice daily for six months. Researchers will check if it lowers a key Alzheimer's blood marker (p-tau217) and improves memory and thinking skills.
