First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether taking a daily supplement called geranylgeraniol (GG) can improve muscle strength, body composition, and exercise capacity in healthy, physically active adults aged 30 to 60. About 70 participants will be randomly assigned to receive either a placebo, 150 mg, or 300 mg of GG daily for 8 weeks. Researchers will measure changes in strength, muscle endurance, and fat-free mass at the start, week 4, and week 8.
