NCT ID NCT03705416

Summary

This study aims to understand how common and severe acid reflux disease (GERD) is in obese patients after they undergo weight-loss procedures. Researchers are following 250 patients who have either surgical or endoscopic weight-loss treatments to track their reflux symptoms and complications over time. The goal is to gather better information to help doctors choose the safest and most effective weight-loss procedure for each patient based on their reflux risk.
