Summary
This study tested a gentle bathing technique based on Basale Stimulation for people with moderate to severe dementia. The approach uses soft mittens, warm water, and careful movements to reduce distress and increase engagement during showers. Fifty participants were videotaped during six sessions to compare the new method with traditional bathing.
