Summary

This study planned to see if gentian violet, a purple dye, could ease symptoms of hidradenitis suppurativa (a painful skin condition). Participants would have rated changes in redness, drainage, and pain. However, the study was withdrawn before any volunteers enrolled, so no results are available.
