NCT ID NCT02917798
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study looks at a new approach to genetic testing for people with ovarian, prostate, or pancreas cancer. Instead of always sending patients to a genetic counselor, doctors offer the test and counselors share results by phone. The goal is to see how this affects patient distress and satisfaction. About 1,000 adults with these cancers took part.
