Scientists hunt for hidden DNA clues to stop fatty liver damage
NCT ID NCT07249112
Summary
This study aims to understand why some people with fatty liver disease develop serious liver damage, like cirrhosis or cancer, while others do not. Researchers will analyze the complete DNA of 2880 participants, comparing people with advanced disease to those with only risk factors. The goal is to find new genetic markers that predict risk and identify potential targets for future treatments.
