First seen Mar 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 18, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study aims to understand why some people develop a rare, serious liver disease called primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC). Researchers will create 3D cell models from patient samples to study how specific genetic changes affect bile duct cells. The goal is to find new ways to diagnose and treat the disease. About 80 adults with or without PSC will participate.
