First seen Mar 05, 2026 · Last updated May 07, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study tests whether a new drug (gecacitinib) plus a standard medicine (pegylated interferon) can help people with polycythemia vera, a condition where the body makes too many blood cells. The main goal is to see if the combination can bring blood counts back to normal levels after 24 weeks of treatment. About 30 adults will take part and be closely monitored.
