Researchers investigate mysterious stomach condition
NCT ID NCT06306963
Summary
This study aims to better understand Gastric Antral Vascular Ectasia (GAVE), a condition where blood vessels in the stomach enlarge and can cause pain, nausea, and bleeding. Researchers will measure how often these symptoms occur and how they relate to how well the stomach empties. The study involves 30 adults with GAVE who will complete symptom questionnaires and take a simple breath test to measure stomach function.
