Summary
This study tests whether garlic tablets can prevent infections that patients sometimes get while in the intensive care unit (ICU). Researchers will give garlic tablets to some ICU patients and compare them to others who do not receive the tablets. The goal is to see if garlic can lower the risk of serious infections like bloodstream or lung infections.
