Turning recovery into play: colorful mat helps kids walk sooner after surgery
NCT ID NCT07404163
Summary
This study is testing if a simple, colorful walkway mat can make it easier for children to get moving after abdominal surgery. Researchers want to see if turning movement into a game reduces kids' pain and fear, and helps them take their first steps sooner. The study involves 74 children aged 4 to 10, comparing those who use the special mat to those who get standard help from a parent.
