NCT ID NCT03995238

Summary

This study is testing two new walking training programs designed to help Veterans with leg amputation from diabetes or poor circulation walk more evenly. Researchers want to see if these training methods, which give specific feedback about walking patterns, can improve balance, reduce pain, and prevent skin problems better than current standard rehabilitation. The study involves 54 Veterans who will complete eight training sessions over four weeks.
