Could your walk predict memory loss? new study investigates
NCT ID NCT07127133
Summary
This study is testing whether a simple walking monitor can help track early signs of memory problems in older adults. Researchers will have 150 participants wear special insoles and ankle devices to measure their walking patterns both in a lab and at home for one week. The goal is to see if changes in how people walk can serve as an early warning sign for conditions like Alzheimer's disease.
