First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looks at how a brain chemical called GABA affects balance and the way we combine information from our senses as we age. Researchers will compare healthy older adults (ages 65-80) with younger adults (ages 20-35) to understand these changes. The goal is to find new ways to help older adults improve their balance and prevent falls.
