New pill targets Tough-to-Treat breast cancer in groundbreaking trial

Summary
This study is testing a new oral drug called FWD1802 for women with a specific type of advanced breast cancer (ER+/HER2-) that has spread or cannot be surgically removed. The first part of the trial aims to find a safe and effective dose. The second part will see how well the drug works, especially for patients whose cancer has a specific genetic change (ESR1 mutation).
