Summary

This study is testing whether daily consumption of foods made with antioxidants, prebiotic fibers, and oat beta-glucans can improve health in 40 adults at risk for metabolic syndrome. Participants will eat these functional foods and attend clinic visits for blood tests and body measurements. The goal is to see if these foods can lower blood sugar after meals and improve weight, body composition, and cholesterol levels.
