First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated Jun 22, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study will check if a formula called fullPIERS can accurately predict serious complications in 50 pregnant women with preeclampsia. Researchers will use information like blood pressure, kidney function, and symptoms to calculate risk. If the model works, it could help doctors identify high-risk patients earlier.

What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
What this could lead to
If the model works well, doctors could better predict which women with preeclampsia are at risk of serious problems, helping them make faster treatment decisions.
What could go wrong
This is a small, early validation study in one hospital, so results may not apply to all populations. The model may not be accurate enough to change practice.
