New injection targets deadly brain tumors in early trial

Summary

This early-phase study tests a new drug called FT536 for adults with a severe, recurring brain cancer (Grade 4 astrocytoma). About 9 people whose tumor can be surgically removed will receive a single injection of FT536 directly into the tumor during surgery. The main goal is to check if the treatment is safe and tolerable.
