New drug combo aims to slow advanced colon cancer

Summary
This study is testing whether adding the drug fruquintinib to a standard chemotherapy regimen (FOLFIRI) can better control advanced colorectal cancer that has spread. It is for people whose cancer has worsened after their first treatment. The main goals are to see if this combination can keep the cancer from growing for longer and to check how safe it is for patients.
