Free glucose monitors offered to Low-Income diabetes patients in new study

NCT ID NCT06658067

Summary

This study is testing whether providing free continuous glucose monitors (CGMs) to low-income adults with poorly controlled type 2 diabetes helps improve their blood sugar levels and quality of life. Researchers will give CGMs to 17 participants who can't afford them and track their progress over 24 weeks. The goal is to see if removing cost barriers for this technology leads to better diabetes management.
