First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 26, 2026
Summary
This study looks at 100 older women (60+) newly diagnosed with breast cancer to understand how frailty affects their quality of life. Researchers will use geriatric assessments and questionnaires to measure frailty and well-being over 6 months. The goal is to help doctors make better treatment decisions for this often-overlooked group.

What this could lead to
If successful, this could help doctors tailor breast cancer treatments for older women by considering frailty and quality of life.
What could go wrong
This is an observational study, not a treatment trial, so it won't directly improve health. Results may not apply to all settings.
