Could a simple frailty check better predict bleeding in older heart patients?
NCT ID NCT07158788
Summary
This study aims to see if adding a measure of frailty (a state of reduced physical resilience) to standard risk scores can better predict serious bleeding in older patients hospitalized for a heart attack. It will enroll 850 patients over 65 years old. The goal is to gather knowledge to improve future risk prediction, not to test a new treatment.
